About

Dr. Nick

Dr. Nick grew up in Longview, Washington. He completed bachelors and masters degrees through Walla Walla University. He met Kari when they were both doing their masters program research near Anacortes. He and Kari graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Dr Nick, Kari and their daughter Ellie have called Anacortes their home since 2010.

Dr. Kari

Each summer Dr Kari's family called Anacortes home. Her father was the director of a marine research station near Deception Pass State Park. She grew up playing on the beach and in the forest for the first 19 summers of her life. The summer before dental school she returned to the marine station as an instructor. Now Anacortes is her permanent home.

Our Staff

Trinity

Trinity, our Scheduling Coordinator, is a native to NW Washington and has called Anacortes home since 1998. She can’t imagine living anywhere else. She is a mother to 4 spunky children and devoted the past 13 years to working from home so she could be with them as much as possible while they were little. Now that they are all in school full-time, she is excited to be back in an office environment and delights in getting to know our patients. She loves to laugh and enjoys helping people feel at ease about their dental care. While she is new to dentistry, she has found that her background in healthcare information management, banking, and accounting has helped her tremendously in getting acclimated to this new field.

Darby

Darby grew up in Anacortes and is thankful to call our community home. She is mother to two fantastic kids, a daughter and a son. When not at work or the kids choir and track meets she enjoys the beach, hiking and camping.

Olivia

Olivia is one of our fabulous dental assistants. She has lived in Anacortes her entire life and enjoys working with the patients she grew up around. She joined our practice in 2013 after graduating from the Dental Assisting program at Bellingham Tech. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and her boyfriend Sawyer.

Jody

Jody has lived in Washington her entire life and recently moved to Camano Island with her husband Mark. She has two beautiful daughters, aged 17 and 20. She’s been a dental assistant for over 12 years and likes helping people get the perfect smile and educating patients about their teeth. She likes ice skating and animals, especially her cat Brownie.

Christina

After spending much of her life in California- southern, northern, the central coast, and the Sierra mountains- she is happy to now call the Pacific Northwest her home. Christina loves the beauty of the Skagit Valley and appreciates the close proximity to Seattle, the San Juan Islands, and British Columbia. She says she finds her work as a dental hygienist at Sound Dentistry stimulating and rewarding, and particularly enjoys interacting with patients and seeing the progress they make toward improved oral health. Outside of work, her favorite places include libraries, live theatre venues, and the great outdoors. Christina loves dogs and advocates the banishment of dog breath through the regular brushing of canines’ canines (as well as the rest of their teeth!)

Adrienne

Adrienne is a very compassionate dental hygienist. She received her degree in Dental Hygiene at Florida State College at Jacksonville in 2009. Adrienne has had quite a career in dentistry and brings to us all of her knowledge and skills she has obtained from her various experiences. She has worked in variety of dental practices including community health, periodontal specialty and general dentistry. Adrienne and her family returned to Anacortes in 2015 and plan to stay at least until their son graduates from AHS. Through all of her travels, she met the Wilson's back in 2010 and knew this was whom she would love to work for again. In her free time, Adrienne likes a challenge and the current challenge is learning to speak Spanish.

Amy

Amy is one of our talented dental assistants. We love working with Amy because she always positive and happy. Patients appreciate her gentle reassuring manor.

Patient Testimonial

“My husband and I have recently moved to Anacortes after living in the Seattle area for 34 years. One of our concerns was to establish dental care in Anacortes. A personal friend recommended Dr. Kari and Nick Wilson's practice. We could not be happier, the quality and professionalism of the staff and both Dr. Kari and Dr. Nick Wilson was exceptional. The entire staff is operating at a high standard of care that is critical in this day for a successful practice.”
