We are accepting new patients.
Drs Isabelle Nguyen, Krissa Mickelwait, Kari Wilson and Nick Wilson, on 8th Street in Anacortes. Our goal is remarkable dental care: a comfortable office, gentle treatment, and teeth you keep for life.
In pain today? Call us. We keep emergency time open.
We hold time open every day for emergencies. Most people are seen the same week, and almost always within 48 hours.
We're closed right now. Leave a message, or better, send a text. Anything that arrives after hours is answered first thing, Monday to Friday at 8 AM.

Insurance we're in network with
We're in network with GEHA, Premera Blue Cross and many other plans. Out of network? We'll still file your claim.
See the full listNo insurance? Two plans, one flat price a year.
Your exams, your cleanings, your x-rays, and 15% off everything else you need, all year, with no annual maximum and nothing to pre-authorise.
This is a membership with a standing discount. It is not insurance, and we won't pretend it is.
The best moment to join is your new patient visit: the plan covers that whole appointment, your first cleaning, your next cleaning after it, and discounts whatever treatment we plan together.
The plan can't be combined with traditional dental insurance. That's a rule of the insurance plans, not ours. Sign-up and billing run through our secure enrollment page.
Which plan is mine?
It comes down to your gums. If you have active gum disease or a history of it, the Gum Health plan is the right fit, not the Preventative plan. If we need to change your plan type, we do it at your exam.
Preventative plan
$579 / year
Two exams, two cleanings, basic x-rays, panoramic and 3D scans, and 15% off everything else. For gums that are healthy today.
Gum health (perio) plan
$679 / year
Two exams and two perio maintenance visits (a deeper cleaning below the gumline), plus 15% off extra maintenance and gum infection therapy. If you have or have had gum disease, this is the one.
Two ways to start with us
Call the office and we'll talk it through with you. Where you start depends on whether something hurts right now.
Something hurts
We'll get you in quickly, usually within a day and at most within 48 hours. We solve the problem in front of us first; the full exam can come later.
You're ready for a new patient exam
A full comprehensive exam: films, photographs, and a real conversation about your oral health and what we found. These book further out, because we set aside the time to do them properly.
We'll diagnose which type of cleaning you need and get it scheduled. A cleaning isn't always done at this first visit; the right one depends on what the exam shows.
What to bring
Your ID, and your insurance card if you haven't already sent it over. That's it. Our average wait is under five minutes, so you won't need the book.
Send your forms early and you'll experience our best
Our forms go straight into your chart, so everything you send is in front of the doctor before you sit down. There's usually plenty of time between booking and your visit, and the sooner we have your information, the more of it we can put to use. We've worked hard to keep the forms short and ask only what genuinely changes your care.
That time is what lets us request films from a previous office, check your insurance so we can talk about cost honestly, and read your health history before we meet. It's what separates a good first visit from the one we intend for you to have.
Health history
Medications and medical conditions change what's safe and what we recommend.
Insurance details
Sent early, we can verify your benefits and give you real numbers, not estimates.
Previous x-rays
We'll request your films from your last office, so nothing gets taken twice.
Where you've been seen
Any previous office, specialist, or imaging center: tell us who, and we'll do the chasing.
Rather use paper?
Stop by for a paper copy, or let someone at the front desk walk you through it, ideally before the day of your appointment.
Coming in for an emergency
We still need the forms. Even for a single sore tooth, your health history and any prior work change what's safe to do.
The same corner, and the same dentistry, for four decades
Dr. Keen started this practice in the late 1970s and the building has been a dental office since about 1981. Dr. Rasmussen carried it on, and we took over in 2013.
Today that's Drs Isabelle Nguyen, Krissa Mickelwait, Kari Wilson and Nick Wilson. A comfortable, inviting office, gentle treatment, and continuing care, so you enjoy your teeth for life.
